What to Bring to Your Loan Closing

  • Certified Funds
At closing you will be required to have Certified Funds (a cashier's check). Make the funds payable to the Title Company where you are closing the loan. Service First Mortgage should contact you the day before your loan closing and review the settlement statement with you and inform you of the amount of the cashier's check.
  • Termite Inspection Report
A termite inspection report dated within 30 days prior to your loan closing will be required for all government sponsored loans (FHA & VA). The report must state that the property is free and clear of infestation from all wood destroying insects. (You are responsible for ordering and supplying this inspection. Please check with your real estate agent or Service First Mortgage Loan Officer for details.)
  • Picture I.D.
Please bring picture identification to the closing; i.e. driver's license, passport, resident alien card, etc.
